Yohji Yamamoto has always been shrouded in mystery. But the avant-garde Japanese designer is finally opening up in a short documentary this month, screened in the world's four fashion capitals. Directed by former Bruce Weber assistant Theo Stanley, the film, titled "Yohji Yamamoto: THIS IS MY DREAM," captures the designer at work on his Y-3 runway show. Narrated by the master himself, it's filled with musings ("I am a simple dress maker. I am not a fashion designer."), wise Yohji-isms, and even a few solo riffs on the guitar. More info at
